HOME & OFFICE ART

Shaped by a family environment in which creativity and handcrafted quality played a central role, already at an early age Cordelia Doll turned towards painting and artistic composition.

 

By courses and impulses within her circle of friends, but also by private studies and experimenting she developed step-by step her individual stile. Not least the creative athmosphere of Munich artists had a formative effect on her work.

 

Initially drawings and mosaics stood in the center of her oevre, then she  directed her attention gradually towards the use of plastic and moldable materials , providing depth, plasticity and structure to the colours. Occasionally, additional transparent layers give more technical refinement, but also intensity and accentuation.

 

The colour compositions of Cordelia Doll fascinate by their bright, serene as well as intensive and inspiring coloration.

 

The structure of the materials extends from rough, nearly sandy underground design elements to soft, fluent tissues, which are employed as a material base for blossoms and plant patterns. The various symbols and forms complete to attractive collages. The use of a variety of natural material allows attractive and appealing  composition.
